The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi has said that Russia’s attack on Ukraine has displaced more than a million people so far.
He said in a statement that the number included people who had fled to Ukraine and those who had fled to neighboring countries.
He noted that Russia’s attack on a nursing home in the Luhansk region of Ukraine was a sign that humanitarian operations were deteriorating.
