Ukrainian air defenses have shot down more than 10 drones in a new Russian attack on Kiev. This was stated by Sergiy Popko, head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
This is the third such attack against the Ukrainian capital in the last four days.
In total, during the night, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down two Russian missiles and 60 Russian drones over different parts of the country, Reuters adds.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces posted a message on Telegram saying they attacked the Atlas oil depot in Russia’s Rostov region and the Zenit oil depot in Russia’s Kirov region. Yesterday’s attacks caused fires at both oil depots.
In the same message, the Ukrainian military says that yesterday it also attacked an artillery depot in the Voronezh region.
At the same time, the governor of Sevastopol on the island of Crimea, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that the Russian military there had neutralized four unmanned Ukrainian aircraft and three unmanned Ukrainian boats, TASS reported.
The regional governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that one person was killed in the Belgorod town of Shebekino during shelling from Ukraine.
Two people were injured. An administrative building and an object of the social infrastructure were also damaged, adds France Press.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that two drones were shot down over the Bryansk region and one over the Belgorod region.
