Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky has once again confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not going to give up a single piece of their land to Russian terrorists and are ready to fight for every populated area. According to him, Kyiv has a plan to return Crimea, which remains a big military secret.
Syrsky stated this in an interview with The Guardian.
Everything possible will be done to achieve the internationally recognized borders of 1991. As Syrsky stated, Kyiv has a plan to return Crimea after its illegal annexation by dictator Putin.
“We must win… to free our citizens who are in the suffering occupied territories,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
At the same time, Syrsky notes that the task before the Ukrainian military is very difficult. The Russian invaders do not want to retreat and do not count their losses, they simply do not mind killing people for the sake of another meter of captured land. Russia intends to increase the number of troops in Ukraine to 690 thousand by the end of the year. The occupiers have an advantage in equipment and resources, he noted.
It should be noted that the priority goal for Ukraine in the war with the Russian Federation is to reach the internationally recognized borders of 1991. Allied countries have repeatedly expressed confidence that the Ukrainian state will be able to achieve this goal.
“Kursor” wrote earlier that the situation on the front in Ukraine remains tense, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) suggested what the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces might be like and whether it will happen in the near future.
