Ukraine’s delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest will arrive in Israel

Ukraine’s representatives for Eurovision 2022 will unite for the first time since the outbreak of war in their country – and will come this week to perform at the ISRAEL CALLING event that takes place at Menora Mivtachim Hall in Tel Aviv. The Ukrainian delegation will arrive in Israel with the assistance of the Jewish Agency and, among other things, will appear during the visit to immigrants who fled the war.

The representatives of the country for the upcoming Eurovision to be held in Turin are the band KALUSH. They will arrive in Israel along with representatives of 23 other countries, and will land in Israel by air train this coming Tuesday. Among the other countries that will come to the show: Israel, France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and more.

Last week, the European Broadcasting Union announced the order in which the representatives will appear for the competition in the two semi-finals. Israel’s representative for the competition in Turin, Michael Ben-David, will appear second in the second semi-final, which will take place on Thursday, May 12. The semi-finals in question are attended by 18 countries, including Sweden, Poland and Australia, which are currently ranked in the top ten in the betting tables. Israel, on the other hand, is today ranked 37th out of 40 countries. Meanwhile, the organizers of the competition announced today that the sale of tickets for the competition will begin next Thursday, April 7th.

Israel was chosen to be represented by the singer Michael Ben David, with the song IM he performed in the finale of the reality show “The X Factor for Eurovision”. The song was written by Lidor Saadia, Chen Aharoni and Assi Tal. The processing and production are the responsibility of Asi Tal and the American producer Prince Fox.
