Ukraine’s Incursion Into Russia Pushes Toward World War III

North Korea on Sunday denounced Ukraine’s incursion into Russia as an “unforgivable act of terrorism” backed by Washington and the West, saying it would always stand by Moscow in its quest to protect its sovereignty.

The KCNA said the Ukrainian operation in Russia is the result of the US’s confrontational anti-Russian policy that is pushing the situation to the brink of a third world war.

“We strongly condemn the armed attack on Russian territory by the Zelensky regime, which is driven by the control and support of the United States and the West, as an unforgivable act of aggression and terrorism,” the agency quoted a statement from the North Korean Foreign Ministry as saying. North Korea has expressed strong support for Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.

The report stated that Washington delivered “massive” quantities of lethal weapons to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, expressed his full support for his ally North Korea in an article published by North Korean media, highlighting Pyongyang’s strong support for Moscow’s war in Ukraine.

“We highly appreciate that the DPRK strongly supports Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine,” Putin said in the article published by North Korea’s official KCNA news agency ahead of a rare visit to Pyongyang.
