According to information published by BILD, Ukrainian troops were forced to abandon their positions in the settlements of Krynki (Kherson region) and Urozhainoe (Donetsk region). Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) retreated from these areas due to large-scale destruction, which made holding their positions pointless.

Sources in the General Staff of Ukraine, cited by Ukrainian media, reported that the battles for the village of Krynki on the southern bank of the Dnieper, occupied by Russia, were initially criticized for their futility. Ultimately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to retreat, since continuing military operations in this area became impractical.

The village of Urozhainoe, captured by the Ukrainian army during the counteroffensive last year, was considered a symbol of this operation. However, the current situation and significant destruction have led to the need to abandon this strategically important point.

At the same time, as reported by the Interfax-Ukraine agency, Ukrainian units have achieved success in the Kharkiv region. During offensive operations, they were able to push Russian forces back two kilometers in the area of the state border. These actions demonstrate the ability of the Ukrainian army to continue the fight and achieve success in other areas, despite the difficulties and retreats in the southeast.

Thus, the current military situation in south-eastern Ukraine remains complex, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to adapt their strategy in response to changing conditions on the frontline.

Earlier, “Kursor” reported that the expert spoke about serious problems of the Russian army. Russian troops are losing a large amount of equipment without achieving any serious results.
