Ukraine-Russia war, the Italian dancer Jacopo Tissi, principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theater Ballet Company, also leaves Moscow. “I am shocked by this situation that hit us overnight and honestly, for the moment, I find myself unable to continue my career in Moscow”, writes Tissi on his social profile.
“I can’t describe how sad it was for me to leave my teachers, my colleagues, my friends, special people who made me grow as an artist and as a person to whom I am and will always be grateful,” confesses Tissi.
“As a human being – he continues – I empathize with all the people and their families who are suffering. No war can be justified. Never. And I will always be against all kinds of violence. We cannot let hatred spread – he continues. “On the contrary, our world should be full of harmony, peace, understanding and respect. I really hope and pray that all wars and suffering will cease as soon as possible,” he concludes.
