The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has informed that Umrah bookings will automatically be canceled if flight services are delayed by more than six hours. They can book a new permit as soon as the Umrah permit expires. The ministry also informed that expatriates arriving from other Gulf countries on e-tourist visas can obtain Umrah permits through the ‘Itamarna’ app before entering Saudi Arabia.
The condition is that foreign pilgrims should make a booking through the app six hours before the time of performing Umrah. Those who want to change the permit time can cancel the permit four hours before the permit time. The ministry also informed that they can book a new permit as soon as the first permit expires.
