Kampala: United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called on all parties across the international community to recognize Palestine as a state. He was speaking at the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit held in the Ugandan capital Kampala on Saturday.
He said that the position of denying the recognition of the statehood of the Palestinian people is not acceptable and everyone should accept the demand of the Palestinian people for a state of their own.
Guterres said this as the war that started on October 7 continues in the Gaza Strip.
