jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Acting General Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Fahri Bachmid said that his party supports Yanni to run as a prospective candidate for Regent of Sarmi in the 2024 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
He said the UN supports Yanni because it believes he is the best choice to bring significant change to Sarmi Regency.
“We are nominating Mrs. Yanni because we are confident that she is capable of accelerating the entire potential of the region. Sarmi Regency needs a leader who is no longer looking for formulas, but a nimble figure who is ready to run straight away,” said Fahri Bachmid after submitting the recommendation for PBB support to Yanni in Jakarta, Friday (16/8).
Fahri further said that Yanni had four terms of experience in the Papua Provincial DPRP.
Therefore, it is believed that they have a very good understanding of the anatomy of the problems and political needs in the region.
Yanni, who has had extensive experience in the world of politics, is considered capable of accelerating development without having to spend a long time designing new strategies.
“Yanni already understands very well where to start and this is important so that Sarmi Regency can immediately be on par with other advanced regencies in Indonesia,” said Fahri.
Yanni is also known to have a strong network at the national level, including his closeness to President-elect Prabowo Subianto. He is expected to be able to utilize this potential for the benefit of Sarmi.
