The government is considering the reconstruction of the UNAFRICA complex and the Center for the Promotion of Crafts (CPA) in Cotonou. In the Council of Ministers, a project management assistance mission within the framework of the project was delegated. Indeed, the renovation project of UNAFRICA and the Cotonou Craft Promotion Center (phase 1) was initiated to strengthen the balanced and sustainable development of this space. It will thus be integrated into all the developments underway to strengthen our country’s tourism offering, which drives economic growth. The mission to be entrusted to the selected company will consist of support on all aspects of the project during the feasibility, design, construction and marketing phases. The ministers concerned are invited to complete the due diligence for the signing of the related contract and will ensure other actions to be undertaken with a view to the effective start of the project.
