“His Majesty the King’s far-sighted approach to the transformation of Moroccan society and economy has enabled the Kingdom to be today an important player in the global economy,” Mr. Kovac said in a statement to MAP, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Sovereign’s enthronement.
And to add that “Morocco has transformed itself, since the enthronement of His Majesty the King, into a resilient country which has successfully carried out major social and economic reforms.”
Today, Morocco’s stature on a global scale, and in Africa in particular, is an illustration of an “incredible transformation of which Moroccans can be proud,” Mr. Kovac continued.
Regarding the bilateral aspect, Mr. Kovac noted that Zagreb and Rabat have excellent relations which “need to be strengthened, by deepening cooperation in areas such as renewable energy, railway infrastructure, aviation, shipbuilding, agriculture and tourism.”
“Croatia and Morocco, which are respectively the gateways to South-Eastern Europe and Africa, should seize the opportunity to intensify their relations of global cooperation in an increasingly complex and fragmented world,” he concluded.
