The health of children depends largely on their parents. Liver disease specialist Dr Shiv Kumar Sarin says that children inherit diseases. There are many types of liver diseases, some of which can be genetic. This means that some liver diseases can be passed on from parents to children.

Dr Shiv Sarin says that if you have bad or dirty habits, then you should not have children. The doctor said that Indians have a lot of visceral fat in their stomach and it increases with alcohol. He said that today 53 percent of liver cancer is due to alcohol.

These diseases are inherited from parents

The doctor said that if your parents have diabetes, blood pressure or obesity, any cancer or gall bladder stones, then you can inherit all these things. If any member of your family has these problems, then your risk of getting these problems increases.

The doctor clearly says that the bad habits of the parents have a direct impact on the child. In such a situation, either you should not give birth to a child or improve your habits. If you are also a parent, then you can know here which habits you need to adopt to stay healthy.

Be a role model

An article published in kidshealth states that in order to teach healthy habits to children, you must first adopt good habits yourself. Children imitate the adults around them every day. When you eat fruits and vegetables and do not overeat on less nutritious foods, you are sending the right message to your children.

How to Be a Role Model

Another way to be a good role model is to set the right amount of food to eat and not overeat. Talk to your children about the feeling of being full, especially with younger children. You might say, “This is delicious, but I’m full, so I’m going to stop eating now.” Similarly, parents who are always dieting or complaining about their bodies can foster similar negative feelings in their children. Try to maintain a positive attitude toward food.

follow this rule

Incorporate fruits and vegetables into children’s daily diets, with the goal that they eat at least five servings a day. You can include a serving of fruits or vegetables at each meal. Good snacks can include low-fat yogurt, peanut butter and celery, or whole-grain crackers.

Serve nutritious meats and other good sources of protein, such as fish, eggs, beans, and nuts. Choose whole-grain breads and cereals so children can get more fiber. Limit fat intake by avoiding fried foods and choosing healthy cooking methods such as boiling, grilling, roasting, and steaming. Choose low-fat or non-fat dairy products.

Stay away from these things

Limit your intake of fast food and low-nutritional snacks, such as chips and candy. But don’t completely ban favorite snacks from your home. Instead, make them “occasional” treats so kids don’t feel deprived.

Limit sugary drinks, such as soda and fruit-flavored beverages. Serve water and low-fat milk instead.
