Undoubtedly, he is Rono’s successor: the former United star praised the Argentine youngster

When Manchester United advance in the Europa League, it is not Ronaldo or Rashford that catches the attention of the fans. Argentine teenager Alejandro Garnacho has been winning fans with his brilliant performances this season.

18-year-old Garnacho won the Man of the Match award in the match against Sheriff.

Although Garnachoc failed to score or provide an assist in the match, he was regarded as one of United’s best performers.

Now former Manchester United player Paul Scholes has come out praising the star. Scholes compared Garnacho to United’s super striker and Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

” Garnacho puts on an impossible performance. I thought he was a young Cristiano. You’d never know he’s an 18-year-old when you see him perform. Garnacho will be United’s star in the future,’ said Scholes.

Scholes added that Garnacho will be a superstar for United if given more opportunities. Garnacho, who played for Spain at the under-18 level, later moved to his mother’s native Argentina.

So far he has only played for Argentina at the Under-20 level. The player grabbed the attention of the public last season by scoring two goals as United lifted the FA Youth Cup.

The star has contributed 22 goals and 11 assists in 53 appearances for Manchester United’s various youth teams.

Alejandro was substituted by United super-coach Erik Tenhag in just one Premier League game this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United won the match against West Ham in the Premier League. United beat West Ham 1-0 at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford scored the winning goal for Manchester United.
