Despite one of the lowest unemployment rates in the French population (5.7%), the employment of seniors remains a weak point compared to our European neighbors with a rate of 56.9% for 55 to 64 year olds (compared to 62 .4% on average on the Old Continent), and 36.2% for those aged 60 to 64 (i.e. more than 12 points below the average).
