Avishag Samberg and Yehiam Sharabi (Israel Taekwondo Association)
Another great achievement for the Israeli taekwondo fighter, who tonight (Thursday) won the silver medal at the European Championships. The winner of the bronze medal at the last Tokyo Olympics, records another success, when she is only 20 years old.
Samberg, Who reached the final where she met the Turkish sage Dinsel and lost, commented on the tremendous achievement: “I finished with the silver medal. Unfortunately it is not gold, but I will continue to work hard next time. I enjoyed competing. I want to say thank you to everyone who supported me and helped me along the way. ”
Coach of the Israeli, Yehiam Sharabi, He added: “This is a successful day. Avishag did a very good job. “Obviously we wanted gold and were preparing to win gold, but next time I believe she will reach that status again.”
