The Basketball Team of the University of International Integration of Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira (Unilab) was invited to participate in the 1st Basketball Quadrangular in the municipality of Capistrano/CE, in the region of Massif de Baturité, with the participation of municipal teams Capistrano, Aracoiaba and Itapiuna.
The university’s Basketball Team had a direct confrontation with Itapiúna, ending the game without a victory, but with a good result: 57×38.
In the first match, the best player/scorer on the Redenção team was pivot Saullo Silva, converting 12 points.
Then, the Unilab team faced the Aracoiaba team to define the 3rd and 4th places, where they won by 61×31.
In this confrontation, the best player and scorer was Edilson Perengue, converting 26 points in the game and leaving as MVP (best player on the field) of the match.
Unilab’s Basketball Team won 3rd place in its debut in Massif competitions, with great performances.
