The University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (Unilab) participated, through the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies (Proppg) and the Coordination of Technological Innovation (CIT), in the presentation ceremony of the Program’s innovation environments Digital Corridors of the Secretariat for Science, Technology and Higher Education (Secitece), which took place on August 8, 2023, in the Auditorium of this Secretariat.
Unilab was selected as an innovation environment in Notice No. 02/2023, of the Digital Corridors Program – Enabling Innovation Environments. This program aims to form a network that plays a leading role in the development of new businesses, to strengthen and develop the regional innovation ecosystem in Ceará.
Therefore, the University, through the Unilab HUB, will support up to 5 startups that will be selected through the Journey Let’s Create, governed by Notice No. 03/2023, of the Digital Corridors Program. The program also aims to combine Startups with Digital Corridors, in order to list proposals that can find solutions to problems that employ the full potential of digital technologies to enable, in strategic areas of the economy of the state of Ceará, increased productivity, competitiveness and income and employment levels. Thus, startups will have to aim at product ideation, market validation and building a minimum viable product (MVP).
