Hamas Holds 64-Year-Old Cancer Patient Captive in Gaza Strip
Hamas is facing international condemnation for its unimaginable cruelty after it was revealed that the militant group is holding a 64-year-old cancer patient captive in the Gaza Strip. Judith Weiss, a resident of Kibbutz Bari in Israel, was diagnosed with breast cancer just three months ago. Tragically, she was abducted on what has been dubbed Black Saturday along with 238 other citizens and taken to Gaza.
Weiss’ family members are deeply worried about her fate. They revealed in an interview with N12 that Weiss did not have enough time to properly treat her cancer before being kidnapped. Judith had already started a series of treatments and had undergone surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. She was scheduled to begin radiation treatments before her abduction.
The family is also concerned about Weiss’ access to medication in captivity. They stressed that it is critical for her recovery and are distressed that no medicine has been delivered to the patients being held in Gaza.
Shmulik Weiss, Judith’s husband, was tragically murdered by Hamas terrorists on Black Sabbath. The couple are parents to five children, four of whom were living on the Kibbutz Bari. Communication with the couple was abruptly cut off, with Judith writing in the family WhatsApp group that they were fine and loved their family. It was later discovered that terrorists had entered their home and were shooting at them.
Despite the tragic circumstances, the family is holding out hope that Judith will be returned safely. They are calling on the government to prioritize the return of the abductees, emphasizing that their priority is to see their loved ones returned home.
