A conflict between brothers, leaders of the Single Union of Workers of the Powers, Municipalities and Decentralized Institutions of the State of Mexicosparked a shootout and the death of a photographer.
Inside the house of the Mexiquense Public Servant, a man identified as René, president of the Suteym Surveillance Commissionallegedly fired a weapon and seriously injured two of those present, identified as Tomás and Luis Fernando, one of whom died and the other was injured.
The events took place on Urawa Street in the Progreso neighborhood of Toluca, while a meeting was taking place in the plenary session.
Ambulances arrived at the scene. Emergency Service of the State of Mexico and Civil Protection to channel patients to city clinics. However, one died at the clinic of the Social Security Institute of the State of Mexico and Municipalities (ISSSEMYM).
The person responsible fled through the back door, despite the arrival of public security elements from the three levels of governmentPeople had to be evacuated and some suffered nervous breakdowns after the explosions.
The Attorney General’s Office The state police opened an investigation into what happened to arrest the person responsible for the homicide, who escaped aboard a car.
