Bengaluru,- Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shobha Karandalaje is planning to change her name for the post, it has been reported.

The names of Union Minister Shoba Karandalaje, National Principal Secretary Ravi, Minister Sunil Kumar and former Minister Arvind Limbavali are being considered for this post. Shoba, now 55, belongs to the popular Okkaligar community. MLC, – MLA, and served as Minister of State. Currently, he is holding the post of Joint Minister of Agriculture in the Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Modi. If he is made the head of the state, he will get the support of women. It is the thought of the BJP top brass that it will be helpful to attract local voters. Shobha, who is eyeing the post of state president, is said to have contacted a renowned astrologer to change her name according to numerology. A Delhi leader has also advised on this. Accordingly, it has been reported that she is planning to change her name to ‘Shoba Gowda’. His father’s name is Monappa Gowda.
