Seven children and two adults were injured after a car hit buildings at a primary school in Wimbledon, south-west London, police said.
The facts are not considered to be related to terrorism, Scotland Yard said in a statement.
Sky News helicopter footage shows a damaged Land Rover 4X4 near a building on a stretch of grass.
Police were called shortly before 10 a.m. after reports that a car had rammed into a building at the private ‘Study Prep’ girls’ school.
“Several people are taken care of on the spot,” added Scotland Yard, adding that rescue services and a helicopter were on site.
“An investigation is underway to understand the circumstances of what happened,” added Scotland Yard.
