An unusual event was recorded today (Wednesday) in the city of Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, when a protester threw eggs at King Charles III and his wife Camilla. Police forces caught the protester who tried to escape from the scene, and he was arrested and taken for questioning.

According to reports in the British media, the incident took place during a ceremony held in the center of the city, in which the king removed the helot from a statue of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. At a certain point the protester started throwing eggs at the king, shouting that “Britain was built on the blood of slaves”. Fortunately, the thrown eggs did not harm the king and queen.

After a few seconds, the security teams knocked the protester to the ground and arrested him. The audience at the ceremony reacted to the incident with boos, as they shouted at the protester “Shame on you” and “God will destroy the king”.
