“It’s over, friends.” Boris Johnson held his last speech as British Prime Minister on Tuesday morning. In the process, he left 10 Downing Street to go to Balmoral, the Scottish residence where the Queen traditionally spends her summers. After having swallowed the 800 km which separate the sovereign from London, he officially presented his resignation to Elisabeth II.
