Arkansas State Police (USA) discovered the body of a child buried under the floor of the family home in the town of Marianna. The parents of the little boy, aged 28 and 33, were arrested on Friday, according to the press release sent by the police and quoted by BFMTV.
Investigators made the grisly discovery while investigating a child abuse case. It was there that they found the body of the child buried under the floor of the hallway of the residence. According to initial findings, the 6-year-old boy died about three months ago from injuries.
A girl found alive
A girl, also 6 years old, was also found in the house and showed signs of domestic violence. She had particular burns on her scalp. The little girl was taken to hospital in Memphis where she is currently in stable condition.
The parents, Ashley Roland and Nathan Bridges, have been charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and endangering the welfare of a minor. A medical examiner must perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of the boy’s death.
