‘United Women’ collective paralyzes Inner Circuit

Traffic flow ⁣was disrupted in the center of the capital after a​ group of⁤ women occupied the street on the morning of ⁤Thursday, August 8th. Inner Circuit, one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares, experienced an unexpected standstill.

The blockade⁣ occurred around 10 am when ‍the collective Women United presented their demands related to⁢ the authorities’ neglect⁤ of a complaint regarding sexual and ⁢workplace harassment by a ​magistrate.

The road seizure was recorded on Inner Circuit and Tizoc Street, in the Tlaxpana⁤ neighborhood of the‍ Miguel Hidalgo municipality, near the ⁣Galerías shopping center.

The women displayed banners featuring the judge in question and the slogan “United⁣ for the neighborhood.” The ⁢action caused intense chaos on‍ the busy road, which serves as a⁣ major thoroughfare through⁣ half‌ of the city.
