A University with a centenary history, projected towards the future. The University of Cagliari welcomes 26 thousand male and female students every year, thanks to an increasingly broad and up-to-date educational offering, with a varied system of services and opportunities, in strong connection with the territory.
The classrooms, libraries and laboratories are distributed in the city center and in the university campus of Monserrato, easily accessible by public transport. Alongside the structures designed for study and training, there are student houses, university canteens, sports campuses, reading rooms, museums, theatres, cinemas, natural parks and beaches, to offer a complete and high-quality life experience .
In a dynamic and lively metropolitan context, UniCA‘s training offer is constantly growing: more than 90 courses, including three-year, master’s and single-cycle degrees, 40 specialization schools, 19 research doctorates and 6 master’s degrees ranging across all humanistic and scientific fields.
Unica’s horizon extends beyond national borders, with study and training opportunities in European Union or non-European countries. Numerous incoming and outgoing international mobility programs, in presence or blended mode, dedicated to male and female students, male and female researchers, but also to teaching and technical administrative and library staff.
The international vocation also materializes in agreements with universities and strategic partners, in support of innovative strategies for research and teaching, and in special reception programs, intended for people from conflict zones and refugees, holders of international and humanitarian protection and asylum seekers.
The desire to develop a strong university community, open to dialogue and inclusive, attentive to the needs of those who live and frequent it, has pushed the university to offer an ever-increasing number of services, which complete teaching and research activities and guarantee full respect for the right to education.
In addition to the Inclusion and Learning Service, which supports people with disabilities and specific learning disorders, psychological counseling is active. On the reception front, the presence of orientation tutors and buddy tutors is important, offering assistance to students in their first year of studies.
