I am a person who rarely goes to the theater to watch movies. Producer of Malikappuram movie Mr. As per the loving invitation of Anto Joseph, we had the opportunity to watch the movie with the family yesterday. I now happily remember that I was able to launch the trailer of Malikappuram movie in Ernakulam on December 12 last month.
Malikappuram gave me a completely different cinema experience. The beginning of the movie was very informative with the majestic voice of Malayalam actor Mammootty describing the history and legend of Sabarimala as the first voice of the movie. Based on Bhakti, this film is one that can be enjoyed by all types of audience. The crew can certainly be proud of making such a film. Born and brought up in a village called Venmani in Alappuzha district, the plot and characters of the film seemed very familiar to me.
Undoubtedly, the film’s director Mr. Vishnu Sasisankar and screenwriter Mr. Abhilash Pillai have succeeded in making the audience feel the sorrows and joys of Kunju Malikappuram as their own feelings.
Unni Mukundan, who is notable among the young stars of Malayalam cinema, has portrayed the most remarkable character in his acting career in Malikapuram. This actor is so identified with Swami Ayyappan. The acting of children Devananda and Sripad is like that. These two children have proved to be the promise of the future. A very topical subject has been presented in the film. The film has managed to bring this topic to the audience in an enjoyable way without boring children and adults. The confidence and courage shown by the producers Anto Joseph and Venu Kunnapally to bring such a film to Abhrapalli is admirable. There is no doubt that through this film, the stories of Swami Ayyappan and Malikappuram will reach more people within and outside our country.
