The document details that in 2023, when Federico Gutiérrez was considered the leader of a political group, He was assigned a robust protection scheme by the UNP, which included several dozen units of the National Police (Ponal)). On August 19, the UNP adjusted security measures after receiving Gutiérrez’s complaint. “At this time, the official has a robust protection plan that includes a plural number of armored vehicles from the mayor’s office and the UNP, as well as the protection of dozens of units from the National Police,” the UNP said.

UNP emphasized that the characteristics and volume of the protection scheme correspond to the assessed risk of the official and that both the entity and the State and government comply with current regulations regarding protection.
