The writer Leopoldo Brizuela died in 2019. Some time later, the researcher Guido Herzovich He discovered in his archive valuable material that was practically ready to be published, although without precise instructions in this regard.

Diary of abandonment (independent label launch Energy Forest) is the unpublished text which was much talked about during the FED and it is a novelty for fans of the author of novels such as One night (2012) y Ensenada, a memory (2018).

Here an unknown facet emerges because, Although there is an autobiographical dimension in his writings, nothing as personal as this one ever came to light.. The journal presents a reflection on writing and joins the Bosque Energético collection which includes other authors such as Santiago Loza, I Acevedo, Matias Moscardi, Laura Ortiz Gomez, Natalia Figueroa Gallardo and Tannia Dick.

“We are alone in loving, but in destroying, all of history accompanies us,” writes Brizuela, who identifies himself in these pages as “one more in that long line of abandoned people that is my family.” A much loved and respected writer, who died young, at 55. This publication helps to keep alive the love for his literature, also young.
