The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) announced the deadline for those affected by the Ticketmaster cancellations will be able to request their refunds.
This measure applies to those cases in which Ticketmaster cancelled without notice the tickets which correspond to dates from past years.
According to Profeco, tickets that were cancelled from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023 by Ticketmaster will be subject to reimbursement and compensation agreed upon by the court agreement, according to the case.

Those affected by ticket cancellations Ticketmaster whose events were suspended, between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2023, will have until the end of 2025 to request their refunds.
For the above, through the social network “X” (formerly Twitter), Profeco called on all those affected in four years to “adhere to the benefit of the judicial agreement”, held a few months ago.
“If you were affected by the unilateral cancellation of tickets from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023, we invite you to take advantage of the agreement!”

The Profeco statement indicates that those affected by the cancelled Ticketmaster events will have the deadline of October 24, 2025.
Customers who were unable to use their ticket will receive the full ticket costas well as service charges and a 20% bonus, as required by law.
However, this will not apply if the cancellation was during the Covid 19 pandemic, where only the cost of the ticket will be refunded as this is an extraordinary global event.

If you were affected and want to request your refund, Ticketmasteryou must enter the Collective Actions portal https://acolectivas.profeco.gob.mx and upload the requested documents.
This process must be done within the period from April 24, 2024 to October 24, 2025, as announced by Profeco after giving attention to the Class Action Lawsuit Against Ticketmaster.
If this commitment is fulfilled, Ticketmaster will have to pay 3.4 million pesos to its clients for the cancellation of events in the following years:
