He explained that those areas located in the city’s original towns and neighborhoods, whose foundation and occupation date back to the pre-Hispanic era and the end of the 19th century, will be considered Heritage Conservation Areas.

The Secretary of Urban Development and Housing (Seduvi), Inti Muñozexplained that in the capital there are 174 Heritage Conservation Areas, delimited under the principles established in the Urban Development Law, of which 135 correspond to indigenous towns and neighborhoods.

He said that jointly, the secretariats of Urban Development and Housing, Culture and Administration and finance, They are working on defining measures with the aim of generating criteria of respect and balance with respect to the historic urban landscape.

CULTURE SECRETARIAT JOINS SHEINBAUM
