As you know, this week we got an Emio teaser that was chilling to say the least. You already know that on the website you can review the 110 best Nintendo Switch games in 2024, but this teaser has undoubtedly impressed us. It was a place message Nintendo asks us who Emio is. It’s accompanied by the video you have below, where the silhouette and logo of Nintendo can be seen at the end. There are also some letters in Japanese that say “笑み男”, which would “smiling man”.
Now, after finding out that it might be related to Project M, as well as some additional details from its age rating, we have one more report coming this time from IGN. This is what they confirm:
- One theory suggested that the game was being developed by the Bloober Team, which is responsible for the Silent Hill 2 remake.
- This theory has almost been discredited.
- On the Nintendo podcast IGNit is mentioned that reliable sources are saying that it is probably not a Bloober game.
Nintendo will share more information about the game in the near future, so we’ll stay tuned. As for Emio, we know that the game for over 18 years and that he has the opening Japanese web teaseralthough there is no further information.
