The PS5 Pro comes with a larger GPU, advanced Ray Tracing technology, and upscaling capabilities with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
– Upgraded GPU: With the PS5 Pro, Sony upgrades the GPU which now boasts 67% more computation units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this allows for up to 45% faster performance for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
– Advanced Ray Tracing: The company is adding even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This enables rays to be emitted at double and sometimes triple the speed compared to the current PS5 console.
– AI-Driven Upscaling: Additionally, Sony introduces PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling technology that uses machine learning to deliver incredibly crisp images by adding an exceptional amount of detail.
