In Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party candidate Subhavathi Shukla, who contested against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, lost.

The registered votes in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections were counted yesterday. The ruling BJP from the beginning. Won the lead in more constituencies than the majority needed.

In this situation, Yogi Adityanath, the first minister to contest the assembly elections for the first time, got 1,65,499 votes in Gorakhpur city constituency. Opposing him was Samajwadi Party candidate Subhavati Shukla, who came in second with 62,109 votes.

Thus, the first minister, Yogi Adityanath, won by a margin of 1.03 lakh votes over the Samajwadi Party candidate. Yogi Adityanath received 66.18 per cent of the total votes.
