Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, Jhansi: A car was hit from behind by a truck near Parichha on the Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway in Baragaon police station area. After the incident, the car caught fire and started exploding. Two people in the car were somehow saved, but four people died tragically by burning. The people in the car were going for a wedding. The groom has also died in this incident which took place on Friday night.
On Friday, the wedding procession was going from Bilati village to Chhapar village. There were six people in the car, including 25-year-old Akash Ahirwar. Akash was to get married. Due to the collision of the truck and the fire in the car, Akash along with his brother Ashish, 4 year old nephew Mayank and driver Jayakaran burnt to death on the spot. Two other people in the car, Ravi and Ramesh, were somehow pulled out. Both of them were taken to the medical college for treatment in burnt condition.
Effort for help from CM
Garautha MLA Jawahar Lal Rajput, who reached the Medical College on receiving information about the incident, said that people living in Bilati Kar and Bilati farm near Parichha on the highway were going to a wedding. There was such a fierce clash that four people were burnt to death on the spot. Efforts are being made to talk to the Chief Minister and provide some relief to the victim’s family.
