Guests at Walton Computer Exchange Offer Season-4 Opening Ceremony
Walton’s ‘Computer Exchange Offer Season-4’ started with the slogan ‘new technology of the new era, green world of the new generation’. In this season, customers can exchange any brand of running or non-running laptop, desktop, all-in-one PC, monitor, printer, tab, speaker, CCTV products and buy new products of Walton brand at a maximum discount of 20 percent. This discount facility is also available on purchase of products on six-month installments or EMI. Buyers will get this benefit by purchasing products from any Walton showroom in the country from September 1 to December 31 this year.
This information was announced at the launching program of ‘Computer Exchange Offer Season-4’ organized at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Monday (September 2, 2024). The Exchange Offer Season-4 was inaugurated by SM Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc and SM Rezaul Alam, Chairman of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited.
In the event, Walton Hi-Tech Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam said that the environment and mankind are facing severe damage due to the dumping of unusable electronic devices. We need to be aware of e-waste management. If not, we will have to suffer. Hence, Walton is playing an important role in the proper management of e-waste in the country by managing the exchange offer.
Chairman of Walton Digi-Tech SM Rezaul Alam said it is our responsibility to build a green Bangladesh for future generations. Therefore, Walton Digi-Tech has been conducting exchange offers since 2020 to ensure proper management of e-waste in our country as well as in the developed world. Already 3 seasons have been completed with great success. Proper management of substantial amount of e-waste will also be ensured through Exchange Offer Season-4.
Around 1,000 people including students from various universities and sales representatives who are acting as campus ambassadors of Walton Computer Products joined the event through virtual media. Among others present were Walton Plaza Managing Director Mohammad Raihan, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Additional Managing Director (AMD) Eva Rizwana Nilu, Walton Digi-Tech AMD Liaquat Ali, Walton Hi-Tech Deputy Managing Director Md. Yusuf Ali and Brigadier General (Retd.) Sajjad Hossain, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Walton Computer Products Touhidur Rahman Raad and others.
In addition, buyers are getting up to 50 percent discount on the purchase of IT products on ‘Exclusive Offer’ from online sales platform e-Plaza.
