AMD this week convened analysts and investors for a presentation detailing the company’s plans for the next two years. First, the company is set to launch this year the Ryzen 7000, a series of desktops based on the Zen 4 architecture. Next year, AMD will launch Phoenix Point, a series of Zen 4-based processors designed for laptops. These will come in 4-nanometer architecture, along with graphics processors based on the new RDNA 3 architecture that will be at least 50 percent more efficient than its predecessor, as well as the company’s Artificial Intelligence Engine.
