The Observatory of the Ministry of the Environment predicts that the eastern area of El Salvador will reach maximum temperatures between 34 and 40 degrees Celsius this Monday, while the minimum temperatures will drop to 20º and 22º.
In the case of the central zone, high temperatures will also occur between 33 and 39 degrees Celsius with minimum temperatures between 19º and 22º. While in the western area the maximum temperatures will range between 31º and 35º.
The Salvadoran territory will also experience the arrival of weak to moderate north winds for this day, with gusts that will reach up to 40 kilometers per hour, mainly in the high areas of the country.
During periods of the day cloudy conditions could occur in different parts of the country, however, the presence of rain is ruled out.
The authorities recommend that the Salvadoran population stay hydrated and protect themselves from the sun’s rays due to the high temperatures that will occur this Monday.
