Up to 84 years in prison for gang members who committed crimes in the eastern part of the country

The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) has reported the conviction of several members of the MS gang, who will face sentences of up to 84 years in prison for committing multiple crimes in the Usulután district.

The defendants have been charged with the following crimes:

– Four cases of proposal and conspiracy to commit aggravated homicide.

– Two aggravated homicides.

– A case of deprivation of liberty.

– Membership in terrorist organizations.

These crimes were committed between 2016 and 2017, a period during which the FGR has intensified its efforts to combat violence and organized crime in the region.

The institution reaffirms its commitment to the fight against impunity and the protection of citizens, continuing with investigations that allow bringing to justice those who threaten the peace and security of the country.
