UPCN San Juan Vóley returned to victory by beating River Plate in Tour 2 of the Argentine Volleyball League, which is played in Mar del Plata. The San Juan team won 3 to 0, with scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-17, in just over an hour of play.

Los Cóndores’ next game will be this Sunday against Once Unidos, the local team, starting at 9 p.m. and at the close of the Mar del Plata stage (TyC Sports Play).

After Thursday’s tight loss in a tie break against Policial, UPCN once again added three points against River. The victory was overwhelming, with San Juan dominance from the first ball.

The opposite Brandon Rattray was the top scorer of the match with 19 points, while the center Junior Sousa was intractable in blocking, with 6 of his 9 points scored in that way.

Furthermore, other good news for UPCN is that the Canadian forward catcher Mateusz Wlodarski was able to make his debut in the Argentine League, who as a precaution after a physical discomfort had not played until now.

It was UPCN’s third victory in four LVA games and this Sunday they will go for another good result against Once Unidos.
