The San Francisco 49ers left Jacksonville in high spirits after a dominant 34-3 win over the Jaguars, with no significant injuries to report. Coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on the team’s health during a conference call with local reporters on Monday.

During the game, right tackle Colton McKivitz rolled his ankle and is also dealing with some knee soreness. He will be considered day to day as he recovers. Additionally, offensive lineman Aaron Banks is still trying to recover from a hyperextension of his big toe, known as turf toe.

However, the news was more positive for All-Pro Trent Williams, who played his first game in Week 10 after missing two contests with an ankle injury. Williams did not experience any setbacks from the game or the long flight back to the Bay Area.

Defensive lineman Arik Armstead experienced soreness after being leg-whipped during the game, but no significant injury was reported. Shanahan also discussed the team’s offensive line, expressing his pleasure with the performance of the guards in both the run game and pass protection.

The team is also dealing with injuries on the defensive side, with linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles being day to day with an ankle injury and Drake Jackson recently placed on the injured reserve list due to knee tendonitis.

Shanahan also provided insight into the thought process behind potentially giving Jon Feliciano more time on the field, prior to Aaron Banks’ injury. Despite the challenges, Shanahan remains optimistic for the team’s recovery and performance in the upcoming games.
