jpnn.com – The Bandung Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) named six suspects in the case of beating the steward by Bobotoh – a Persib Bandung supporter -.

The beating incident occurred after the Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta duel at the Si Jalak Harupat (SJH) Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Monday (23/9/2024).

As a result, nine stewards became victims and suffered injuries due to the beating.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo said the supporters’ riot occurred after the referee blew the long whistle to signal the end of the match. Persib won 2-0 in that fierce match.

After the two teams entered the stadium tunnel, Bobotoh began his actions targeting the stewards.

“The Bandung Police succeeded in arresting six suspects in connection with the riots at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium on 23 September 2024 on Monday,” said Kusworo in a press conference at the Bandung Police Headquarters, Thursday (26/9/2024).

After that, the police carried out an investigation by collecting evidence and information from witnesses. As a result, it was found that six people from the supporters were proven to have carried out the beatings.

The six suspects were named Ahmad Ali Mubarok (20), Andri Hidayattuloh (22), Fauzan Dzulfiqar (18), Kiki Alhikmah (28), Muhammad Ridwan Insani (19), and Rizmi Muhammad Razib (23).
