Concerning the Taurus missiles, which Germany refuses to deliver to Ukraine fearing an escalation of the conflict, Mykhaïlo Podoliak, adviser to the Ukrainian presidency, declared to the German newspaper Bild that the Taurus missiles were “crucial” for the Ukrainian counter-offensive. Seeking to allay concerns about the range of these weapons, Mr Podoliak said they would be used “exclusively on the territory of Ukraine, within the internationally recognized borders of 1991”.

During a meeting with Mr. Lindner in kyiv, the mayor of this city, Vitali Klitschko, also underlined: “Ukraine urgently needs armaments. » “We are counting on our partners to understand the situation and that it cannot be postponed”he said, after receiving the German minister.
