A new app from Apple
If you install iOS 16.2 on your iPhone, you will suddenly find a new app there that also ends up on the iPads: Freeform.
The app is supposed to be a digital whiteboard: When you open it, a white surface appears on which you can paint, write or attach digital notes. You can use it to brainstorm, plan projects or collect ideas.
Karaoke mode for Apple Music
Anyone who regularly catches themselves singing along loudly while listening to music might like this feature: Apple Music now has a karaoke mode.
It is well known that you can display the lyrics of songs and let them run automatically. But now a small controller has been added, with which you can specifically turn down the vocals in songs. So you only hear the instruments – and can make a karaoke version out of a large number of songs on Apple Music.

New widgets
With iOS 16, the so-called lockscreen widgets were introduced to iPhones, with the update to version 16.2 two new ones were added: From now on you can use a widget to be reminded of medication to be taken from the health app and the sleep data from the previous night display.
