With the Minister of Finance’s signing of the Customs Tariff Order and Exemptions and Purchase Tax on Goods (Amendment No. 24 and Temporary Order No. 22), 2022 (hereinafter – “the order”), which cancels the customs duty on the import of fresh meat to Israel, and the publication of The order is in the records on 10.07.2022, the quota distribution committee decided to exempt the winners from complying with the conditions of the fresh meat competitive procedures for 2022, starting from the date of publication of the order and onwards, except for the reporting obligations for the period in which the procedure was in effect.
Accordingly, the duty-free import licenses granted to importers in the competitive procedures for the import of fresh meat for 2022 were canceled and the publications related to the obligations of the winners in the aforementioned competitive procedures were removed from the ministry’s website.
