In today’s stock market, the Nifty and Sensex traded lower during the morning trade amid volatility. In sector-specific codes, the IT and FMCG ports are under pressure. Also found in the buying zone in oil and gas, realty and pharma stocks.

The S&P BSE Sensex was down 134 points at 57,460.77. Reliance Industries, SBI Life Insurance, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank were the top gainers today. On the other hand, the BSE midcap was up 41 points at 23,916.83, the BSE smallcap index was up green and was up 98 points at 27,991.26.

The Nifty was down 46 points at 17,176.55. In contrast, the Nifty Bank was up 32 points at 35,494.60. Among the Nifty 50 indices, Bajaj Auto, UPL, Reliance Industries, SBI Life Insurance and Tata Motors are the top gainers. Shares of Titan, Tata Consumers, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla and Indian Oil Corporation traded lower in red.
