This was stated by Undersecretary of Health Pierpaolo Sileri, guest of ‘Sabato too’, on Rai Radio 1, regarding the decision of the US Supreme Court which annulled the Roe v. Wade ruling, canceling the constitutional right to terminate a pregnancy.
Sileri also underlined how “in view of the new territorial national health service it will be possible to further help women, obviously maintaining the possibility of having access to their right”.
Then, speaking of the Covid situation in Italy, he observed: “I don’t think this increase in infections can lead to new restrictions”. The Undersecretary for Health recalled how the great adhesion to the vaccination campaign has led to a completely different situation compared to a year ago.
As for the PNRR funds, they represent “an opportunity that we cannot waste to reorganize our health system in depth. The funds are there and must be used well.
