US announces new sanctions against Pyongyang and Moscow

The affected banking entities include Russian Financial Corporation Bank (RFC), TSMRBank, Timer Bank, Stroytreyd, and TSMRBank Vice President Dmitry Yuryevich, the Treasury Department said.

According to the US department, the sanctions are aimed at networks that facilitate the financing of North Korean nuclear programs, which are considered illegal by the international community and atomic energy agencies.
