Of these, 45 per cent are from Pakistan. Compared to previous years, the number of locals joining the terrorist movement has dropped by a third. Several infiltration attempts by Pakistan in violation of the ceasefire agreement have been thwarted. Thus, peace is prevailing in North Kashmir at present, he said.
